Dr. Willson specializes in analysis and treatment of acute and chronic spinal and extremity conditions, injury rehabilitation and prevention, and functional screening. Treatments may include spinal and extremity mobilization/manipulation, soft tissue techniques, acupuncture, rehabilitative exercise, kinesio-taping and patient education.ments are individually designed and view the patient holistically. Dr. Willson holds a Bachelors of Science Honours degree from Queen’s Univeristy in Kingston and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. She is certified in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, Graston Technique and SpiderTech taping. She has previously completed ART certifications. Dr. Willson is licensed with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario and is a member of the Ontario and Canadian Chiropractic Associations.
Dr. Amy Woollacott, M.Sc., D.C. Chiropractor
Dr. Amy Woollacott is a graduate of Brock University where she received her Bachelor of Kinesiology Degree with Honours. She continued her education by receiving a Masters of Science Degree in Exercise Science at Brock University. Most recently, Dr. Woollacott graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, Ontario. Additionally, Dr. Woollacott is a certified Functional Integrated Acupuncture provider. She is also an active member of the Ontario and Canadian Chiropractic Associations.
Dr. Woollacott is passionate about promoting healthy living and takes pride in helping individuals maintain and optimize their active lifestyles. She does this through patient-centered care, while combining the most up-to-date research and manual therapy techniques. Dr. Woollacott lives in Bowmanville, Ontario, and enjoys being an active member of the community.
Lisa Neal, Massage Therapist
Lisa graduated with a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Ottawa in 1990 after which time she worked as an early childhood educator and fitness professional. In 2001 she returned to school to study massage therapy and was registered by the CMTO in 2003. She practiced massage therapy in Ottawa until 2008 and then moved to the Bowmanville area. She started at Optimal Health Chiropractic in March 2012 and is very excited to be a part of the Optimal Health team. As well as Swedish massage techniques, Lisa does Hot Stone massage and Thai Yoga massage.
